Bollinger, Antoinette

Antoinette A. Bollinger, 89, of New Baden, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. She was born March 13, 1920 in Mascoutah, daughter of William F., Sr. and Kate (Kehrer) Hodel. She married Charles C. Bollinger December 28, 1968 in New Baden and he preceded her in death December 16, 1982. Mrs. Bollinger is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hodel of Belleville, IL and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Friederich and four brothers, Robert Hodel, Elton Hodel, William Hodel, Jr and Edward Hodel. Mrs. Bollinger was a member of the New Baden Senior Citizens. She was a homemaker. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden with Rev. Pam Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 and from 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the New Baden Ambulance Service or New Baden Fire Department or to the New Baden Park and will be received at the funeral home.
