Theresa A. Kollmann, 91, of Red Bud, formerly of Damiansville died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud. She was born December 20, 1921 in Lookingglass Township, IL, daughter of Clemens and Josephine (Jansen) Kollmann. She married William Kruse on November 14, 1951 at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1960. She is survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Sister Mary Lucida Kollmann, Sister Mary Clement Kollmann, Sister Mary Sebastian Kollmann, William “Jack” Kollmann, Hermina Kollmann, Joseph C. “Joe” Kollmann, Herman Kollmann and Catherine Kollmann in infancy; and sisters-in-law, Mildred Kollmann, Annie Kollmann, Bernadine Kollmann, Lucille F. Kollmann, and Hulda Kollmann. Ms. Kollmann formerly worked at St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Chester and the former Clementine Residence in Red Bud. She was a member of St. Damian Parish in Damiansville. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville with Rev. Jack Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at St. Damian Cemetery in Damiansville. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers. Memorials may be made to St. Damian Parish or for Masses and will be received at the funeral home.
