Mark Mollet formerly of the Carlyle area died Friday January 29, 2010 at his home in Cape Coral, Florida at the age of 56 years. Mark was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 21, 1953 the son of Howard and Gloria (Goewert) Mollet.Mark is survived by his wife: Sandra; his mother: Gloria Mollet; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Christina and Don Schanz; two brothers: Michael (Lana) Mollet and Thomas Mollet; three sisters: Pamela (Ron) Finn, Linda Palen and Kathleen (Jim) Rose; two step daughters: Wendy (Paul) Botelho and Kimberly (Sean) Ramsay; five grandchildren; two aunts: Barbara Wade and Rita Carder; one uncle: Joseph Goewert; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Mark was preceded in death by his father: Howard Mollet; a sister: Gail Mollet Goodin; and a brother-in-law: Timothy Palen.Mark retired from the National Guard after 23 years of service. He loved his family, the National Guard, enjoyed fishing and was a kind and helpful person.A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Keith Michaels officiating.Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 2:00 P.M.The family suggests memorials to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
