David J. Mueller, 49 of Aviston, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 as a result of a traffic accident near Aviston. He was born November 8, 1960 in Highland, son of Marcellus F. and Isabelle M. (Frohn) Mueller. He is survived by his mother, Isabelle Mueller of Aviston; three sons, Corey Mueller of Breese, SPC. Craig Mueller, US Army, currently serving in Hawaii, and Christopher Mueller of Breese; two brothers, Robert Mueller of Hawaii, Gene (Ann) Mueller of Vail, AZ; two sisters, Rosemarie (Arthur) Moss of Irvington, and Betty (Lawrence) Bedard of Aviston; he is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcellus Mueller. Mr. Mueller was a steelworker at Arrow Group Industries in Breese. He was a member of St. Francis Parish in Aviston, a member of A.B.A.T.E. and Local 25 United Steelworkers. He enjoyed motorcycles. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christopher Mueller education fund or to Relay For Life and will be received at the funeral home.
