Sharon V. Monaghan

Sharon V. Monaghan, nee Korte, born August 28th 1956 ended her valiant struggle with ALS on December 22nd, 2017. She is survived by her loving, caregiving husband, John, her children Jim (Julie) and Stacey (Marcus) and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Valeria and Wilbert Korte and brother, Kenneth. She will be sadly missed by her sister Ruth Ann (Paul) and brothers Marvin (Charlotte) and Maurice (Karen) as well as the Monaghan Family.

Sharon was a caring wife and mother. She was very creative in her quilting, sewing, cooking and gardening. She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Rita Church in Holly Michigan. Angels were her friends.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Fr. Dan Friedman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Trenton.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston.
