Worley, Margaret

Margaret E. Worley, 85, formerly of Odin, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Faith Care Center in Highland. She was born July 26, 1923 in Poplar Buff, MO, daughter of Albert and Rosetta (Crunk) Barker. She married Robert C. Worley November 26, 1941 in Poplar Buff, MO and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Ann (Tom) Dascotte of Highland, Linda (Tom) Hoepker of Addieville and Barbara (Rob) Ferguson of Shawano WI; seven grandchildren, Dean (Amy) Dascotte, Lance (Krista) Dascotte, Jonathan (Lisa) Dascotte), Sean Dascotte, Robert (Lisa) Young, Brett (Marissa) Young and Jason Maertz; eight great grandchildren, Courtney Dascotte, Chase Dascotte, London Dascotte, Collin Dascotte, Logan Dascotte, Lana Ann Dascotte, Adam Young and Lauren Young; one sister, Virginia Austin of Dupo; sisters-in-law, Edith Barker of Poplar Bluff, MO and Ella Worley of OR. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Robertson and Iola Richardson; five brothers, Lawrence Barker, James Barker, John Barker, Donald Barker and Victor Barker; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Roy Robertson, Osmon Richardson, Thomas Austin, Lillie Belle Barker, John and Helen Worley, Otis and Buelah Mae Worley, George Worley, Everett Worley, and Marshall Worley. Mrs. Worley was a Homemaker. She was a member of Centralia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Centralia, IL with Lun King Tjhie presiding. Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden, IL is in charge of arrangements.
