Rose Ann Adams, nee Wallace, 87, of Lebanon, IL born November 29, 1926 in Columbus, MS died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Health Care in Lebanon, IL.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin James and Lucinda Stepney; her husband Jimmy Adams; and three brothers, Andrew Wallace, William H. Wallace and Robert Wallace. Surviving are her two daughters, Doris L. (Philip) Elmore of New Baden, IL and Candy (Michael) Parker of Tupelo, MS; three grandsons, Philip Elmore, Terry Elmore, and Michael Parker; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Parker and Isabella and Jordan Elmore; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services are pending at Carter’s Funeral Home in Columbus, MS. Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden is in charge of local arrangements. Memorials may be made to Cedar Ridge Nursing Home or to TIP Hospice and will be received at Hempen Funeral home.
