Albert Winton Griessel, age 86, of Carlyle died on Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence. Albert was born on September 8, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Albert C. and Eva (Henson) Griessel and the preceded him in death.
Mr. Griessel lived in East St. Louis before moving to Carlyle in 1996. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Albert worked as a welder before retiring.
In keeping with Mr. Griessel’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held. Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle is serving the Griessel family.
