Amora Rose Long

Amora Rose Long, infant daughter of John and Mechele (Webb) Long of Carlyle entered into rest at her home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was born in Centralia on November 8, 2017.

In addition to her parents, Amora is survived by her eight year old brother Hunter Webb, and three year old sister, Chloe Long; her maternal grandparents: Dianna and Billy Boyer of Mt. Vernon, John Edward Doran Jr. of Peoria; Paternal grandparents, Ronald and Amy Anderson of Carlyle; aunts and uncles: Michael (Mallory) Doran of Hoyelton, Mathew Doran of Peoria, Jade (Richard) Wise of Wisconsin, Jessica Doran of Carlyle, Carl Anderson and Emily Williams of Carlyle, and Brandon Anderson of Carlyle; her great grandparents: Red (Mary) Barry, Wanda Long, Debbie Anderson, and Carol (Jerry) Williams.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents John W. Long Jr., Carl Anderson, John Edward Doran Sr., and Karen McCarver.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Immediately following the visitation at the funeral home, the family will hold a celebration of Amora’s life and reception at the Carlyle VFW.

Memorials made in Amora’s memory are suggested to Hannah’s Playground and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
