Andrew J. Devine

Andrew J. Devine, 67, of Fairview Heights, died Monday, April 22, 2024 at his home. He was born December 17, 1956 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Herman and Thelma, nee Meddows, Devine. He married Jacquita Workman December 3, 1990 in New Mexico and she preceded him in death January 26, 2023. 

 Andrew is survived by his children, Jacquita (Craig) Morgan and Justin (Katrina) Regier; his grandchildren, Angel Beavente and Felicity Regier; great-grandchildren, Ava & Hazel; and his siblings; Michael (Carol) Devine, Linda Devine, Rose Anderson, Martin (Susan) Devine, Richard (Stephanie) Devine, and Donald Devine.

 In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aurora Regier; and a brother-in-law, Roy Anderson.

 Mr. Devine was a roofer for the United Union Roofers Local #2. He enjoyed collecting sports cards, playing washers and horseshoes, watching westerns, and spending time with his family.

  There will be no services.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
