Andrew F. Usselmann

Andrew F. Usselmann, 80, of Breese, died on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon. He was born October 30, 1938 in Breese, the son of Henry W. and Wilhelmina (Deerhake) Usselmann.

He is survived by two sisters, Juliana (Sylvester) Hilmes of Breese, IL and Irene Ziegler of Park Forest, IL; a sister-in-law, Florence Usselmann; two brothers-in-law, Don Boehm of Florrissant,, MO, and Nicholas Timmermann of St. Rose, IL.; and he is also survived by nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Usselmann; sisters, Florence A. Usselmann, Dorothy E. Buller, Veronica Boehm, Evelyn Drees, Mary Ann Usselmann, and Margaret Timmermann; three brothers-in-law, Virgil Buller, Joseph Drees, and Thomas Ziegler; and a nephew, Ralph Drees.

Mr. Usselmann was a retired dairy farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Parish and Holy Name Society, Prairie Farms Dairy INC, Knights of Columbus Council #2869 in Breese, and Clinton County Farm Bureau.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Chuck Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese.

Memorials may be made to Mater Dei High School, St. Augustine Parish or the Donor’s Choice and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 150 N. Clinton, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
