Angela Jean Finch

Angela Jean (Hubbard) Finch formerly of Beckemeyer passed away surrounded by her family at St. Louis University Hospital on January 19, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1959, in Breese, IL, the daughter of William and Loretta (Hustedde) Hubbard. 

Angela, known for her love of reading and cooking, had a particular fondness for yard sales. She often found treasures and shared them with those she cared about. A proud veteran, she retired from the United States Army, exemplifying dedication and service. In addition to her military commitment, Angela was an active member of the ladies auxiliary and member of patriot guard where she contributed to honoring those who had served. Up until retirement Angela spent her years as a dispatcher for XPO in Salem.

 Angela is survived by her son, Jon Finch of Patoka; her companion, William "Bill" Howard of Patoka; her brother, Rodney (Denise) Hubbard of Carlyle; and her sister, Amy (Dennis) Voss, also from Carlyle. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lorna Hubbard-Honer (Austin), as well as her nieces and nephews: Rachel (Caleb) Curry, Brian (Tracy) Hubbard, Larissa (Trent) Halstead, and Landyn (Tabitha) Hubbard. She also leaves many great nieces, great nephews, and cherished friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and three brothers, Jonathan, Trevor and Marvin Hubbard. 

Visitation for Angela will be held at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle on January 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at the same location, which will begin at 4:00 PM. 

Memorials made in memory of Angela are suggested to The Beckemeyer American Legion Auxillary or the Clinton County Relay for Life.
