Audrey C. Lee

Audrey C. Lee, 77, of Beckemeyer passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at her home. She was born in Okawville on February 20, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Alma (Kaufman) Borgmann. She married Alvin Lee on June 10, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2001.

Ms. Lee is survived by two daughters: Charlene Borgmann and special friend John and Cindy Lee all of Beckemeyer of Beckemeyer; one grandson, Christopher (special friend Mariah) Borgmann, and her great granddaughter, Addison Borgmann; her siblings, Henry Borgmann of Irvington, Eunice Spindler of Hoffman, Dwight Borgmann of Dahlgren, June Hull of Centralia, Judy Stonecipher of Irvington, Hadley Borgmann of Irvington, Earl Borgmann of Tennessee, Carolyn Pille of Okawville, and Marilyn DeBose of Eldorado, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, two sisters: Jackie Bergkoetter, and Henrietta Borgmann; three brothers: Charles Borgmann II, Byron Borgmann, and Bruce Borgmann.

Audrey worked at the Breese Nursing Home for many years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and loved to play Bingo.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. Burial will follow at Carlyle Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.

Memorials made in Audrey’s memory are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
