Brian Michael Frankovich, T.F.O., 60, of New Baden, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Aviston Countryside Manor. He was born July 14, 1958 in Breese, the son of Bernard M. and Bernadine, nee Behrman, Frankovich.
Brian is survived by his siblings, Claudette Frankovich and Phyllis (Brad) Albers all of Albers, Terry (Phyllis) Frankovich of Aviston, Tom Frankovich of Hemet, CA., and Ken (Kathleen) Frankovich of Narragansett, RI; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Dull, Stacy (Kyle) Lentz, Melanie (Dave) Holden, Heather (Brian) Luitjohan, Brett Frankovich, Victoria Frankovich, Paige Frankovich, Kyle Frankovich, Jeff (Lisa) Albers, Tammy Albers-Rutz, and Brittany (Jay) Strieker; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, Charlie, & Anderson Lentz, Bernard, Bella, and Gabbi Luitjohan, and Milo Holden.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Claude E. Frankovich.
Mr. Frankovich was a retired school teacher. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers, the Albers Knights of Columbus, the Sons of the American Legion Post 1026 in Albers, and the Secular Franciscan Order.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Albers.
Friends may call on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers.
Memorials may be made to the Secular Franciscan Order and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265.
