Brungart, Carol

Carol A. Brungart, 52, of Carlyle, died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at her home. She was born October 9, 1956 in Yuma, AZ, daughter of Otto J. and Frances W. (Branstetter) Koerber. Carol is survived by her father, Otto Koerber of Carlyle; a daughter, Jennifer (Fiancé, Gary Towell) Hilmes of Carlyle; two grandchildren, Lily Towell and Caleb Towell; two brothers, Joseph Koerber of Ventura, CA, Ronald Boes of Lafayette, IN and one sister, Janice (Gene) Jackson of Apalachicola, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Carol was last employed by C Cor in State College, PA as an inspector for cable TV systems. Carol was a graduate of Mater Dei High School, class of 1975. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Interment will follow at St. Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 and from 8a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
