Marcia H. “Marcie” Buller, 92, of Breese, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was born July 4, 1921 in Carlyle, daughter of Herman and Agatha (Roberts) Dalhaus. She married August J. “Gus” Buller June 11, 1946 in Carlyle and he preceded her in death July 9, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Mary (John) Brueggemann of Trenton; a son, Michael (Mary Jo) Buller of Breese; five grandchildren, Jason (Kristie) Buller, Tim (Amy) Buller, Cory (Angie) Brueggemann, Leah (Curt) Albers, and Shawn (special friend, Meghan) Brueggemann; eight great-grandchildren, Jake Buller, Alyssa Brueggemann, Ava Brueggemann, Logan Brueggemann, Landon Brueggemann, Kale Albers, Max Albers, and Layna Albers; a sister, Marcella “Cella” Wuebbels of Carlyle; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Nina Dalhaus of Oak Ridge, TN, and Bernice & Earl Duncan of Highland; and she is also survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Rainey and Dematria “Mur” Musgrove; four brothers, Alexander Dalhaus in infancy, Robert Dalhaus, Albert Dalhaus, and Wilfred Dalhaus; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gertrude Dalhaus, Georgia Dalhaus, Herb Rainey, Charles “Bud” Musgrove, Bill Wuebbels, Virgil & Dorothy Buller, and “Lenny” & “Bassie” Grimmer. Mrs. Buller was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish and Altar Sodality. Marcie enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Patrick Peter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and will be received at the church or Hempen Funeral Home in Breese who is in charge of arrangements.
