Carol M. Parent, age 67, of Belleville, formerly of Beckemeyer passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah. She was born in Scobey, Montana on July 29, 1952 the daughter of Louis and Rose (Timmerman) Parent.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerome Parent and Leon parent.
Ms. Parent is survived by her sisters: Lois Parent and Sharon Parent both of Belleville.
Carol loved puzzle books and watching sports on television. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg with Fr. Mark Reyling and Deacon Corby Valentine officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Beckemeyer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg.
Memorials made in memory of Carol are suggested to St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises (S.A.V.E) and will be received at church or at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street Carlyle, IL 62231.
