Charles A. Brewer

Charles A. Brewer, 73, of Carlyle died Friday April 1, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. Charlie was born in Trenton, IL on January 18, 1938 the son of Elmer and Bertha Bottore Brewer. He later married Barbara Staar Brewer. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2006.
Mr. Brewer is survived by five children; Kenny Brewer, Charlie E. Brewer, Debbie Henkle, Charlene Waeltz, and Theresa Woodcoxs. Five Step-Sons; Rick Koehler, Mark Koehler, and Phyill Koehler.
Charlie owned and operated the Pit BBQ in Carlyle for over 25 years.
In keeping with Mr. Brewer’s wishes he was cremated and all services will be private.
