Christopher M. Sahs, age 34, of New Baden, was born on October 25, 1990, in Hinsdale, Illinois, and passed away on December 25, 2024, in O'Fallon, Illinois. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who brought light and joy to those around him.
Christopher possessed a vibrant personality characterized by his caring, loving, and kind nature. Always quick to lend a hand, he exemplified what it meant to be selfless and supportive. Known for his infectious happiness, he had a unique ability to uplift everyone he encountered. His zest for life was evident in all that he did.
Celebrating his passions, Christopher held a deep love for music festivals and gaming. These interests enriched his life and allowed him to forge lasting connections with friends who shared his enthusiasm.
Christopher is survived by his father and mother, James and Christina Sahs of New Baden; He is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Karyn (Sahs) Wilson and her husband Grayson of St. Libory, IL, Arnold Sahs and wife Jessica of New Baden, and Scott Sahs of Boulder, CO; his six nieces and nephews, who will carry his spirit forward. He leaves behind many good friends whose lives he touched with his genuine kindness and unwavering support.
He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Arnold and Joan Busch and Lois and Ralph Sahs; his uncle, John Sahs; and "Auntie" Evelyn Bjornson, all of whom he held dear in his heart.
Christopher will be profoundly missed by his family and friends, who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and the happiness he bestowed upon everyone fortunate to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he has left behind.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden.
Memorials made in memory of Christopher are suggested to his mother Christina Sahs, donated funds will be put towards an Electric Forest Memorial Tree in Sherwood Forest.
