Jeffrey Crawford, 31, of New Baden, Ill., formerly of Alton, Ill. died Friday, December 2, 2005 at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. He was born on April 1, 1974 in Alton, Ill., son of Joyce Myrene Banks. He is survived by two brothers, Carlton Crawford of New Baden and Brien Banks and wife Georgette of Florissant, Mo. He was preceded in death by his mother, his grandmother, Juanita Banks and two brothers, Keith Crawford and Kenneth Banks. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden, with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clinton Manor Activity Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
