Dale C. Bann, 71, hometown of New Baden, IL, born December 27, 1948 in Breese, IL, died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his home in Phoenix, AZ.
Dale was retired from Arizona Mentor, Phoenix, AZ; graduate of Wesclin High School, Trenton, IL, class of 1966; served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Thailand.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph C. Bann and Lucille E. Bann, nee Bailey; and a brother, Richard L. Bann.
Surviving are his sister, Sandra E. Seipp of New Baden, IL; nephews, Casey Douglass of O'Fallon, IL and Shea C. Seipp of New Baden, IL; great niece and nephew, Madalyn A. Douglass and Luke E. Douglass of O'Fallon, IL.
Dale leaves behind family members and many, many friends who will always remember his unique personality and clever wit; artistic talent and love of dogs; his ability to comfort us and make us laugh.
Heartfelt gratitude to Robin Carpenter and Pam Roop of Phoenix, AZ for their care, support, and hardwork. Thank-you for giving our family peace during this difficult time.

There will be no services. Dale will be interred at Greenmount Cemetery in New Baden, IL next to his parents and brother.
