Deiters, Anna

Anna M. Deiters, 78, of Breese, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Carlyle Healthcare in Carlyle. She was born May 8, 1928 in St. Rose, daughter of Bernard and Theresa Mary (Rosen) Liening. She married Robert Deiters on April 18, 1950 in Breese and he survives in Breese. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Roberta Beer and husband Dave of Bartelso, Allan Deiters and wife Jeanette of Breese, Theresa Poettker and husband Ken of Centralia, and Clare Gebke and husband Jim of Bartelso; seven grandchildren, John Beer and wife Tammy, Joel Beer, Stacey Deiters, Nichole Deiters, Kyle Poettker, Craig Poettker and Luke Gebke; one sister, Elvera Huene of Breese; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rita Liening of Breese, Betty Liening of Carlyle, Ferd and Rita Deiters of Breese, Alvin and Norma Deiters of Trenton, and Ralph and Kathy Deiters of Breese. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and Anna Deiters; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Othmar Liening, Edgar Liening, John Liening, Joe and Leona Haar, and Ed Huene. Mrs. Deiters was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Parish in Breese. She enjoyed her grandchildren, quilting, reading, growing African Violets and gardening. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Henry Fischer and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment will follow at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. Memorials may be made to the Breese Ambulance Service and will be received at the funeral home.
