Delores Ann Boring

Sadly, the family and friends of Delores Ann (Macke) Boring must say good bye to their Mom, Grandma, & Great Grandma. Delores passed away on August 10th 2019 at the age of 87 in Omaha, NE.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Florence (Klein) Macke; her husband OM (Mel) Boring; and her sisters, Mary Klotz, Martha Daubach, and Amelia (Pete) Cross.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Boring and his wife Kathy of Gretna, NE and Jeff Boring of Bellevue, NE; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Corey and Jennifer Martinez (Boring) of Lincoln, NE, Matthew and Chelsea Boring of Wahoo, NE, Jared and Julie Boring of Denver, CO, Davy and Emily Chen (Boring) of Chicago, IL, and Derrick and Katie Boring of Colorado; 11 great grandchildren, Sophia, Cecilia, & Lucia Martinez of Lincoln, NE, Emry, Owen, & Olivia Boring of Wahoo, NE, Charlotte Boring of Denver, Theo Chen of Chicago, Alex Boring of Texas, and Austin and Chloe Boring of Colorado; she is also survived by her oldest sister, Florence Wagner (Macke) of Mascoutah, IL along with many nieces and nephews.

Delores loved her family, her grand kids and all the great grand kids. She was known affectionately as “Granny” to everyone.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2019 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Gene Neff officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden.

Friends may call Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden.

Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family and will be received at the funeral home.
