Diane Hollenkamp, age 70, of Aviston passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 14, 1950 in East St. Louis, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Jean (Wall) Sabo. She married her husband of 47 years, Ronald Hollenkamp on August 11, 1973 and he survives in Aviston.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Carrie Dumstorff and husband Craig of Naperville and Jenna Tucker and husband Grant of Aviston; her grandchildren: Aubrey Dumstorff and Cash Tucker; her brothers: Danny Sabo and wife Debbie of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Terry Sabo and wife Liz of Belleville; her in-laws: Dennis (Susie) Hollenkamp of Carlyle, Rich (Mary) Hollenkamp of Breese, Janice (Carl) Haas of Bowling Green, KY, Margie (Wayne) Kiefer of New Baden, Jim Boeckman of Breese, Aggie (Butch) Wellen of Highland, and Jane Hollenkamp of Aviston.
Mrs. Hollenkamp was preceded in death by her mother and father; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Hollenkamp, Jerry Hollenkamp, Norman Hollenkamp; sisters-in-law: Eileen Boeckmann and Lou Hollenkamp.
Diane was an artist; she enjoyed watercolor painting and has many beautiful paintings through out her home. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Deacon Charlie Litteken officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Aviston.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston.
Memorials made in memory of Diane are suggested to charity of donor’s choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston.
