Bernette L. Dulle, 85, of Albers, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Faith Countryside Home in Highland. She was born March 31, 1922 in Albers, daughter of Frank and Mary (Heimann) Netemeyer. She married Vincent S. Dulle on May 1, 1946 in Albers and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1949. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Dulle and wife Sharon of Holiday Shores and Gary Dulle and wife Mary of Trenton; three grandchildren, Stephanie Brider and husband Steven, Chad Dulle and Todd Dulle; one brother, Elmer Netemeyer and wife Jane of Aviston; two sisters, Sister Julie Netemeyer, ASC of Ruma and Alice Zurliene of Fairfield; one step brother, Arnold Heimann and wife Mary of Germantown; two step sisters, Sister Marcianna Heimann of Herrin and Antoinette Engelmann of Albers; sisters-in-law, Vera Netemeyer of Aviston, Dolores A. "Dolly" Netemeyer, Marie Dulle, Evelyn Dulle and Rosalinde Dulle all of Albers. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Dulle in infancy; three brothers, Henry "Hank" Netemeyer, Paul Netemeyer and Ralph Netemeyer; two sisters, Martha Horstmann and Marcella Dulle; step brother, Herbert Heimann; step brother-in-law, Virgil Engelmann; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edna Netemeyer, Edward Horstmann, Tony Dulle, Herman Dulle, Christine Dulle, Ben Dulle, Henry "Hank" Dulle, Tom Zurliene, Greg Dulle, Ben and Cecelia Santel and Mary and Adolph Brand. Mrs. Dulle was a secretary at Aviston Lumber and a secretary at Catholic Social Services in Breese before her retirement. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish and Altar Sodality, a charter member of American Legion Post 1026 Auxiliary and a member of St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers with Rev. Henry Engelhart officiating. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Albers. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers. Memorials may be made to St. Bernard Church or Freedom Place at Faith Countryside Manor and will be received at the funeral home.
