Edward H. Hustedde, 93, of Vineland, N.J., formerly of Hammonton, N.J., passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, N.J. surrounded by his family.
Mr. Hustedde worked for Conrail for 35 years as a Track Foreman. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII from 1942-1946 and was a Past Commander for the Hammonton American Legion F.A. Funston Post #186. He loved traveling, playing cards and enjoyed "junking."
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (nee Pitale).
Surviving are his daughters, Sharon Danks and her husband Lance Keele of Milmay, N.J. and Marie Fischer and her husband William of Vineland, N.J.; and sisters: Agnes Schroeder of Bartelso, Vera Pulver of Beckemeyer, and Sr. Germaine Hustedde P.H.J.C. of Donaldson, Ind.; loving grandfather of Anthony Ingemi, Jr., Kenneth Ingemi, Sr., and Edward Danks, Sr.; great grandfather of Stephanie Ingemi, Kenneth Ingemi, Jr., Karisa Ingemi, Kyle Ingemi, Ashley Rigilano, Charlotte Danks and Edward Danks, Jr.; and great-great granddaughter, Melanie Lepore.
Committal services will be at St. Anthony Cemetery in Beckemeyer of August 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Holthaus-Kampwerth American Legion Post 1227 Honor Guard.
