Jonathan Myles Edwards, 23, of New Memphis IL, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in Mascoutah Twp, St. Clair County, IL. He was born December 17, 1984 in Oakland, PA, son of Martha Ann Edwards. He is survived by his mother, Martha Ann Edwards of New Memphis, IL; one brother, Timothy Edwards of New Memphis, IL and a sister, Rebecca Edwards of Trenton, IL; his grandfather, Donald Edwards of New Memphis, IL; a niece, Kacie Schaefer and two nephews, Myles and Macean Edwards. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Edwards. Jonathan was employed by Newbold Toyota in O’Fallon, IL. A service of remembrance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden, IL. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.
