Eileen Rose (Brammeier) Kleiboeker of Hoffman died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at her home at the age of 67 years. She was born on the family farm in Ferrin on April 4, 1944, the daughter of Emil and Quinta (Knolhoff) Brammeier. She was very proud of her unique birth date.
Mrs. Kleiboeker was married to William "Bill" Kleiboeker on February 27, 1965 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin. She is survived by her husband of 46 years and her children: William "Junior" Kleiboeker and wife Joann of Hoffman, Cynthia Kampwerth and husband Dale of Carlyle and Cory Kleiboeker and wife Annette of rural Centralia; eight grandchildren: William and Michael Kleiboeker, Chase, Claire and Carly Kampwerth and Abby, Blake and Mia Kleiboeker; two sisters: Bernice Zimmermann of Ferrin and Julie Karmeier and husband Ralph of New Minden; two brothers: Edmond Brammeier and wife Alrene of Okawville and Carl Brammeier and wife Louise of Carlyle; a sister-in-law: Doris Brammeier of Ferrin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gus and Rosina Kleiboeker; a brother: Delbert Brammeier and brother-in-law: Wilbert Zimmermann.
Mrs. Kleiboeker was a homemaker and housewife and had worked at Carlyle Healthcare Center for 15 years. She served as custodian along with her husband at Trinity Lutheran School, Hoffman, for 12 years and Trinity Lutheran Church since December 2007. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, having been a member of the adult choir, handbell choir and altar guild. She was a member of the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League, having held several offices. She was also a member of the Red Hats. She loved to bake, cook, tend to her flower garden, quilt and spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman with Pastor Stephen Krenz officiating. The interment will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle on Friday from 4 to 8:00 P.M. or on Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
The family suggests that memorials in Eileen’s honor be made to the Trinity Lutheran School or Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School, and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
