Evelyn B. Mallrich, 95, of Trenton, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at Trenton Village. She was born August 12, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Charles R. and Maymey (Oscody) Good. She married Oscar J. Mallrich on September 26, 1942 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2014.
She is survived by her son, James “Jim” Mallrich Sr. and wife Jan of New Baden; her daughter, Pamela “Pam” Mallrich Oster and husband Bob of New Baden; her grandchildren, Lisa Campbell and husband Jeff, Lynnette Brown and husband Stephen, James Mallrich Jr. and wife Shannon, Richard Mallrich and wife Elisa, Jeff Oster and wife Kristine, Brad Oster and wife Kristen, Stacey Oster Leemon and husband Chad, as well as eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Evelyn was a very social person, she enjoyed playing cards and attending other social events. She loved to fish and camp with her family and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Trenton with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. A committal service will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in New Baden.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the First United Methodist Church in Trenton.
Memorials may be made to the Trenton First United Methodist Church and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover, New Baden, IL 62265 who is in charge of arrangements.
