Finders, Mary

Mary Magdeline Finders, 93, of Eden Village, Glen Carbon, IL, formerly of El Cajon, CA and New Baden, IL, died Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon. She was born Dec. 1, 1917 in New Baden, IL daughter of George H. and Mary (Wilken) Strake. She married Forrest Finder and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2000. She is survived by one brother, George H. “Bud” Strake of New Baden. In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Strake, and Edward Strake; and a sister, Eleanor Foppe. Following cremation she will be buried next to her husband at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
