Fix, Mary

Mary Ann Fix, 72, of Breese, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Town & Country, MO. She was born August 23, 1936 in Highland, daughter of Conrad and Stella (Hoh) Wieter. She married Arthur R. Fix February 11, 1956 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and he survives in Breese. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael (Lynn) Fix of Breese, Peggy Sue (Ron) Schrage of St. Rose, Robert (Robin) Fix of Breese, Sharon Fix of O’Fallon and Donna (Phillip) Timmermann of Breese; 12 grandchildren; four step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Before her retirement, Mrs. Fix was employed by Arrow Group in Breese and worked in the quality control department. She was a member of St. Augustine Parish and Altar Sodality and the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary in Breese. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Chuck Tuttle officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. Memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay For Life or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
