Frerker, Delores

Delores A. Frerker, 71, of New Baden, died Thursday, August 17, 2006 at her home. She was born October 24, 1934 in Breese, daughter of Herman and Mary (Rolves) Schleper. She married LaVerne L. Frerker on October 8, 1958 at St. Bernard Church in Albers and he preceded her in death on May 26,2002. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Kollmann and husband Steve of New Baden, Dennis Frerker of Germantown, Gerald Frerker of New Baden, Ron "Butch" Frerker and wife Theresa of New Baden and Ruth Eichacker and husband Tony of Germantown; eight grandchildren, Michelle Clanton and husband Lucas, Melissa, Melinda, Christopher & Miranda Kollmann and Sarah, Travis & Zachary Frerker; brother-in-law & sisters-in-law, Mary Husmann of Germantown and Sophie & Herman Schomaker of New Baden. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Ryan Frerker two brothers, Elmer Schleper and Robert Schleper; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Dorothy Schleper, Ann & William Thoele, Laura & George Dulle, Herman & Irene Frerker, Wilhelmina & Herman Pollman and Elmer Husmann. Mrs. Frerker was a homemaker. She was a member of St. George Parish and Altar Sodality and the Clinton County Farm Bureau. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2006 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Gene Neff officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2006 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 21 2006 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Relay For Life or donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
