Gipson, Brian

Brian David Gipson, 45, of Aviston, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Highland Health Care Center in Highland. He was born November 19, 1961 in Red Bud, son of Charles Edgar and Betty L. (Prater) Gipson. He is survived by a son, Nicholas Gipson of Greenville; his mother, Betty L. Warren and step father, Carl of Percy; Grandmother, Bertha Irene Prater of Prairie Du Rocher; his special friend, Susan Kay Feldmann of Aviston; a brother, Jeff Alexander Gipson and wife Joy of Greenville; half brother, Howard Warren and wife Dana of Percy; half sisters, Lena E. Bell and husband Gene of Percy, Lisa D. Morrow and fiancé Milo Mattocks of Cutler, Marla Hair and husband James of Greenville, Joy Hair of Centralia, and Alicia Mull and husband Eugene of Effingham; step-mother, Gail Gipson of Breese; step-sisters, Bonnie Elkins of Livingston, Kitty Holemann and husband Dale of Sorento, Tammy Atchison of Greenville, and Rachel Stateler of East Pierron. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gipson. Mr. Gipson was a custodian at Trouw Nutrition in Highland. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club in Minnetonka, MN and the Breese Rod & Gun Club. Memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay For Life and will be received at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston, who is in charge of arrangements.
