Gloria Koehler, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at her home in St. Louis, MO. She was born on April 13, 1946 in Breese, Illinois the daughter of Melvin and Mary (Thouvenin) Koehler.
She is survived by her siblings: Naomi Wernsman of Centralia, Donna Fauke of Carlyle, and Lola Wessel and husband Wayne of Carlyle. Gloria has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As well as many family and friends in St. Louis, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Melvin "Moon" Koehler, and brothers-in-law: Dale Wernsman and Wilson Fauke.
Gloria received her Registered Nursing License in 1967 from City Hospital School of Nursing in St.Louis, Mo. Gloria maintained working as a RN until this year.
Most important to Gloria was the love she shared with her family.
She loved going fishing in Branson, Mo. with her two friends where she was known as, 1 of the 3 Crazy Ladies.
She was a devoted animal lover and donated to the cause to help save them.
