Helen C. Williams

Helen C. Williams of Beckemeyer, Illinois died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Highland Health Care Center in Highland at the age of 83 years. Helen was born in Bartelso, Illinois on June 13, 1926 the daughter of Louis and Frances (Becker) Grawe. She married Robert Williams on August 24, 1945 in Beckemeyer and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1955.Helen is survived by three daughters: Charlotte Deutchman and husband Danny of New Baden, Sherry Wilken and husband Gene of Breese and JoAnn Kahrhoff and husband Ray of Beckemeyer; a son: Roger Williams of Beckemeyer; nine grandchildren: Rodney Deutchman, Tonya Beer, Nikki Williams, Curtis Williams, Jackie Boeckmann, Terry Wilken, Kelly Ritchey, Kim Beckman and Ray Kahrhoff; great grandchildren: Tara and Alexis Deutchman, Trista and Rachel Beer, Myah Williams, Amanda Boeckmann, Zachary and Olivia Wilken, Ashley, Taylor, Jenna, Fred Jr. Ritchey, Alison, Elizabeth and Alex Beckman.Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Robert Williams Jr.; sister: Henrietta; and brother: Virgil.Helen was a member of St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer and enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Church with Fr. Chuck Tuttle and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. The interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle on Sunday from 4 to 8:00 P.M. or on Monday from 8 to 9:30 A.M.Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle which is serving the family.
