Estella M. Hollenkamp, 83, of Aviston, Ill., died Saturday, September 3, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born February 16, 1922 in New Baden, Ill. daughter of William and Anne (Kalmer) Wiegmann. She married Norbert G. Hollenkamp on October 18, 1944 at St. George Church in New Baden and he survives in Aviston. She is also survived by her children, Dennis Hollenkamp of Damiansville, Ill., Ron Hollenkamp and wife Diane of Aviston, Ill., Norman Hollenkamp of Nashville, Ill., Rich Hollenkamp and wife Mary of Breese, Ill., Janice Haas and husband Carl of Bowling Green, KY., Marvin Hollenkamp and wife Jane of Aviston, Ill., Margie Kiefer and husband Wayne of New Baden, Ill., and Eileen Boeckmann and husband Jim of Breese, Ill.; 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Lohman of New Baden, Ill., and Marie Hollenkamp and husband Virgil of New Baden, Ill.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eleanor Wiegman of Carlyle, Ill., Elsie Wiegmann of Trenton, Ill., Mary Ann Bruening of Breese, Ill., and Lorene Hollenkamp of O’Fallon, Ill.; daughter-in-law Ag Wellen and husband Butch of Highland, Ill. Mrs. Hollenkamp was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Hollenkamp; brothers, Alphonse Wiegman, Raymond Wiegmann, Edward Wiegmann & William Wiegmann; daughters-in-law Luella Hollenkamp and Betty Hollenkamp; Brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Arthur Lohman, Frances Wiegmann & Leona Wiegmann, Severian Hollenkamp, Ralph Hollenkamp, John Hollenkamp, James Hollenkamp & Paul Bruening. She was a homemaker and she loved to crochet, quilt and play Euchre. She was a member of St. Francis Parish and Altar Sodality. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston, Ill. with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston, Ill. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2005 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mater Dei High School or St. Francis Church and will be received at the funeral home.
