Huegen, Jordan

Jordan Cole Huegen, 15, of Albers, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born August 2, 1993 in Breese, son of Russell R. and Elaine F. (Kollmann) Huegen and they survive in Albers. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Scott (Lynette) Huegen and a niece, Alaina Huegen of Albers; uncles & aunts, Steve & Marilyn Kollmann, and Margaret & William Thoele all of New Baden, Mary & Wayne Black, Susie & Jerry Drees, Teresa Kollmann, and Donna & Maurice Diekemper all of Trenton, and Terry and Shirley Huegen of Albers. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Richard Huegen; his grandparents, Ray and Alvina Huegen and Joe and Lucille Kollmann; an uncle, Norman Kollmann and an aunt, Corrine Huegen. Jordan recently completed his sophomore year with high honors at Central Community High School and was a member of the Class of 2011. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers. He loved NASCAR, horse racing and sports. Jordan was cared for by Joyce Eacho of Aviston, Pam Balkenbusch of Pocahontas, Gwen Bradley of St. Louis, MO, Jennifer Albers of Aviston and Dale Meyer of Albers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers with Mgsr. Donald Eichenseer presiding and Rev. Eugene Neff and Rev. Stanley Konieczny concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Albers. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Louis Variety Club, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Belleville/Swansea Moose Lodge, or St. Bernard Parish and will be received at the funeral home.
