Isaak, M. "Dolly"

Olivia M. “Dolly” Isaak, 80, of Breese, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at her home. She was born November 25, 1933 in Carlyle, daughter of George and Catherine (Schoo) Lappe. She married Robert Joseph Isaak on January 12, 1954 in Beckemeyer and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2005. She is survived by her three children, Michael Isaak of Breese, Mary (Ron) Ripperda of Carlyle, and Nancy (Edward) Huelsmann of Breese; four grandchildren, Ryan Huelsmann, Adam Huelsmann, Kris (Kelly) Ripperda, and Amy Ripperda; one great-grandchild, Kinsley Ripperda; and two sisters, Leona Lallman of Beckemeyer, and Catherine (Theodore) Woltering of Carlyle. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Lappe, Edwin Lappe and Walter Lappe; two sisters, Irene Albat and Lorene Voland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edith Lappe, Orban Voland, Lavern Lallman, Edward “Sawdy” Albat and Viola Lappe. Mrs. Isaak was a secretary for Quizno’s in Breese. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and the American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary in Breese. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese with Pastor Matthew Goetz officiating. There will be a private interment at a later date. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. The American Legion Auxiliary will visit the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
