Robert Joseph Isaak, 76, of Breese, Ill., died on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Countryside Manor, Aviston, Ill. He was born on July 24, 1928 in Beckemeyer, Ill., son of Henry & Marie (Kuhl) Isaak. He married Olivia Matilda Lappe on January 12, 1954 in Beckemeyer, Ill. and she survives in Breese. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael Isaak of Breese; two daughters, Mary Ripperda and husband Ron of Carlyle, Ill. & Nancy Huelsmann and husband Edward of Breese; four grandchildren, Ryan & Adam Huelsmann and Amy & Kristopher Ripperda; three brothers, Edward Isaak of Breese, James Isaak of Beckemeyer, and Henry Isaak and wife Diane of Bethalto, Ill.; and a sister, Rose Marie Rudock of Sun City, Az. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Alfred Isaak and Jerome Isaak and one sister, Henrietta Isaak. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Truck Centers in Troy, Ill. He was a member of St. Augustine Parish in Breese, American Legion Post 252, Breese, VFW Post 3523, Carlyle, and the Teamsters Local 600 in St. Louis, MO. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese, Ill. with Rev. Patrick Peter officiating. There will be a private interment at a later date. Friends may call on Monday, May 23, 2005 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hempen Funeral Home, Breese, Ill. The American Legion will visit the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the VNA TIP Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
