James D Nettles

James D. Nettles of Carlyle died Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Carlyle Healthcare Center at the age of 80 years. Mr. Nettles was born in Crockett, Arkansas on July 29, 1933, the son of Price and Grace (Herren) Nettles.

James is survived by a daughter: Debra Pence and husband David of Corning, Arkansas; sibling: Mary Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, Dorothy Grubb of Springfield, Missouri, Aubrey Nettles and wife Lavada of Aldrich, Missouri, and Gene Nettles of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

James had worked as a farm laborer. He enjoyed fishing and the company of his faithful dog.

Services will be held in Corning, Arkansas.

For those wishing to honor James with a memorial, the family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
