Jansen, Viola

Viola C. Jansen, 90, of Albers, died July 14, 2007 at Fireside House of Centralia in Centralia. She was born June 24, 1917 in Kelso, MO, daughter of Louis and Regina (Blattel) Hahn. She married Lawrence H. Jansen on April 28, 1953 in Albers and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1997. She is survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lawrence Jansen on July 26, 1973 and two sisters, Lorraine Norton & Frances Beck. Mrs. Jansen was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers with Rev. Lou Koehr officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Albers. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers. Memorials may be made to St. Bernard Parish and will be received at the funeral home.
