John “Bud” Bullen, Sr., 60, of Albers, IL, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born March 7, 1957 in Lorraine, OH, the son of Edward C. and Nancy, nee Sloan, Bullen. He married Deb Endres on June 7, 1980 in Monmouth, NJ and she survives in Albers, IL.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, Edward C. Bullen of Lakeland, FL.; his sons, John (Jen) Bullen of Loveland, CO., Joe (Sydney) Bullen of Trenton, and Nick (Allyn Beckmann) Bullen of Bartelso; four grandchildren, Ethan, McKenna, Avery, and Payton; a sister, Beth Geiger; five brothers, Buck (Cindi) Bullen, Bill (Donna) Bullen, Bob (Lillian) Bullen, Peter Bullen, and Ben (Linda) Bullen; his father-in-law, George Endres; a brother-in-law, David Endres; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Elaine Endres; and a brother-in-law, John Geiger.
Mr. Bullen was veteran of the United States Air Force and an Air Field Management Specialist at Scott Air Force Base. Bud was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed playing pool, and especially loved being a dad and an OPA.
A Celebration of Life Party will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Hidden Lake Winery – The Estate House in Aviston, IL.
