Joseph Samuel Lococo, 66, of Beckemeyer and formerly of West Chicago, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 3, 1950 in Chicago, the son of August and Naomi, nee Roberts, Lococo.
Joseph is survived by his three daughters, Marlena Lococo, Rita (Nate) Merriam, and Felicia (Kenneth) Merriam all of Omaha, NE; one granddaughter, Chloe Merriam; a sister, Mary (William) Pitt of Beckemeyer; nieces and nephews, Sharon (Charles) Loveless of Michigan, Jan (Brian) Helfrich and Shannon (Gary) Kreke all of Beckemeyer, Louis (Lisa) Rose of Palatine, William (Kris) Pruitt of Carlyle, and James Pruitt of Breese; 21 great nieces and nephews; and three great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette Rose.
Mr. Lococo worked in the maintenance department at Wal-Mart in St. Charles, IL and also worked at AT&T in West Chicago, IL before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. Burial will follow at Beckemeyer Cemetery in Beckemeyer.
Friends may call Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 9 a.m. until time of services at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
