Joseph H. Macke, age 76, of Breese died on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Highland Healthcare Center. He was born on December 19, 1943, in Breese the son of Anton R. and Mary R. (Kues) Macke.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Rose (John) Siegman, Larry (Sandy) Macke, and Leo (Rita) Macke.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Kathy (fiancé Tim Tebbe) Macke of Jamestown and Mike (Susie) Macke, Ken Macke all of Breese, Rose Strake, and Paul Siegman; his great nieces and nephews: Kelly (Jason) Burkett, Kevin (Carla) Macke, Steve Hernden, and Chris Knapp, Sarah Macke, and Tony Macke; and his best friend Richard Ess.
Joe served as a medic in the United States Army. He enjoyed the company of his many friends at the local taverns in Clinton County.
A memorial service will be held a later date at St. Dominic / St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Breese.
