Juanita Juenger

Juanita Juenger, 90, of Carlyle passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Carlyle Healthcare Center. She was born in Flat River, Missouri on December 8, 1927 the daughter of Barton and Iva (Rudluff) Lavrrar. She married Ralph Juenger and he preceded her in death December 19, 1985.

Mrs. Juenger is survived by her children: Gene (Judy) Hogan of California, Larry Hogan of Collinsville, Diana (Gerald) Donaldson of Carlyle, and Kathy (Denny) Kuhn of Centralia; her stepson, Larry (Karen) Juenger of O’Fallon; stepdaughter, Sandy (Glenn) Rector of Centralia; ten grandchildren: Michael (Brook) Hogan of Oregon, Melanie (Tsegyal) Hogan and Leah Hogan of California, Shawn (Julie) Cunningham of Missouri, Kyle Donaldson of Maryland, Michael (Breanne) Kuhn of Florida, Ashlee (Marc) Snyder of Centralia, Melissa Rector of Centralia, Becky Kujawa of Ashley, and RJ Juenger of Kansas; as well as eleven great grandchildren.

Juanita was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin. She loved the outdoors especially fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and played on a league for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Carlyle Township Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Memorials made in memory of Juanita are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Clinton County Humane Society and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
