Karen S. Potter

Karen S. Potter, 63, of New Baden, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon. She was born July 7, 1961 in Princeton, KY, the daughter of Wilbur and Noretta, nee Hollis, Dennison. She married Richard Potter March 17, 2006 in New Baden and he survives in New Baden. 

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Kara (Jeff) Marshall; step-son, Richard Allen (Kim) Potter, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Aiden, Katelyn, and Riley; and her siblings, Jimmy Dennison and Gloria (Shawn) Burke.

Karen worked for Addus Home Care and was a member of the New Baden United Methodist Church.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. at New Baden United Methodist Church with Pastor Al Williams officiating.

Memorials may be made to the New Baden United Methodist Church and may be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
