Kennedy, Rozanna

Rozanna J. Kennedy, 71, of Albers, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at her home. She was born November 25, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of Harold and Eula (Yockey) Dial.
She married Bryan J. Kennedy on July 25, 1959 at St. Pius VI in St. Louis, MO and he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kathy (Gary) Endres of Germantown, Christina (Andres) Irizarry of Albers, Erin (Eric) Ratermann of New Baden, Bryan (Kaylinn) Kennedy of Breese, and Sean (Michelle) Kennedy of Albers; eleven grandchildren, Jamie (John) Zurliene, Lauren (Ahren) Langhauser, Whitney (Doug) Netemeyer, Megan (Jesse) Porterfield, Sarah Kennedy, Jacob Endres, Taylor Ratermann, Ryan Kennedy, Katelyn Kennedy, Alexandra Kennedy, and Sydney Irizarry; three great grandchildren, Camryn and Jackson Langhauser and Dylann Netemeyer; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Alvina Kennedy.
Rozanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a receptionist for the St. Joseph Hospital x-ray department and a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers with Rev. Jack Joyce officiating.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers. There will be a prayer service at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Mater Dei or Central High School soccer programs or to the American Diabetes Association and will be received at the funeral home.
