Kimberly A. Karbach

Kimberly A. Karbach, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away on March 15, 2024, at her home in Beckemeyer. She was born on June 25, 1959, in Breese, IL. Kimberly will always be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family and friends.

Kimberly had a passion for spending quality time with her children and grandchildren; it brought her immense joy and fulfillment. She held a special place in her heart for individuals with special needs and always went out of her way to show compassion and support. Fishing and playing bingo were among her favorite pastimes, bringing relaxation and happiness to her days. An avid St. Louis Blues Hockey fan, Kimberly's enthusiasm for the sport was contagious to those around her.

In the quiet moments of life, Kim found solace in the company of her family. Her presence brought warmth and love to each gathering she attended. Her memory will live on within the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She leaves behind loved and cherished memories for her surviving family members: her husband Ken Karbach; sons Jared Fix and Justin (Konnor Poitra) Fix; daughters Cailey Karbach and Amanda (Cory) Rakers; grandchildren Aejae Fix, Kasen Fix, Aiden Rakers, Mason Rakers, Alison Rakers; sisters Jen (Missy) Shirley and Dawn Holzhauer; nieces Madison Shirley and Krista Newcomb; as well as her father Marvin Holzhauer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Holzhauer

Visitation will be held at Nordike Funeral Home in Breese on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
