Klingman, Lucille

Lucille Klingman, 89, of New Baden, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Albers, IL. She was born January 15, 1926 in Wade Twp, IL, daughter of John and Gertrude (Henke) Haar. She married Vernon Klingman October 31, 1948 in AR and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1957. She is survived by a son, Bruce (Nellie) Klingman of Ramona, CA; a daughter, Victoria (Gary) Stepanek of Florissant, MO; a daughter-in-law, Joan Klingman of WA; a son-in-law, Charles Warren Wheeler of Albers; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Keith (Linda) Haar of New Baden; and a sister-in-law, Rita Haar of New Baden. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Klingman; a daughter, Judy Wheeler; two brothers, James Haar and John Haar; three sisters, Ages Macke, Catherine Macke, and Mary Ann Ford, Mildred Deutschmann; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Henry Macke, Herman Macke, Clarence Deutschamnn Florence Haar, and Ed Ford. Mrs. Klingman was a homemaker and a dietary aide for the Meredith Home in Belleville. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
