Mildred C. “Sis” Lampe, 75, of Germantown, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. She was born June 15, 1936 in Carlyle, daughter of James J. and Mildred (Kolmer) Taylor. She married Anthony “Corky” Kleber. She then married David V. Lampe on July 29, 1988 in Germantown and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2011. Mrs. Lampe is survived by her daughter, Patsy Kleber-Ronan of Carlyle; her step-children, Rita Haukap of Damiansville, Chris (Daniel) Loepker, Dave (Chris) Lampe all of Bartelso, and Mike (special friend, Barb LeBlanc) Lampe of Germantown; three grandchildren, Wesley Ronan, Eli (special friend, Jennifer Clark) Kleber all of Carlyle, and Kelly Cherry of St. Louis, MO; three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, 12 step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren; three sisters, Ilene (Ray) Allison of Chester, Darlene (Don) Hegger of Aviston, Nancy (special friend, Chris Weckler) Wood of Swansea; two brothers, Jessie (Rose) Taylor of Carlyle, and Bob (Connie) Taylor of Cabot, Ark; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia Taylor, Louise Taylor and Margie Taylor all of Carlyle, Monica Hermes of St. Louis, MO, Tom and Evelyn Lampe of Carlyle, Delores Lampe of Germantown, Barbara and Ralph Jansen of St. Louis, MO, Gerald and Laura Lampe of Germantown and Dolly Lampe of St. Louis, MO. In addition to her husband, Dave Lampe and her parents she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kerry Kleber; brothers, Jack Taylor, Roy Taylor and Charles Taylor; a sister, Phyllis Schniers; one step great granddaughter; step son-in-law, Mike Haukap; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bernell Schniers, Greg Lampe, Magdelyn Lampe, William Hermes, August Lampe and Ervin Lampe. Mrs. Lampe was retired from Quip Industries in Carlyle and formerly was the Carlyle Township Supervisor. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish in Germantown. Sis enjoyed going to casinos with her family and working auctions with her husband, Dave. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese with Msgr. James Buerster officiating. Burial will follow at Carlyle City Cemetery in Carlyle. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012 and from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
